OUAHĒ Coastal Edition

A refined coastal aesthetic that brings the atmosphere of the shoreline indoors through natural materials, softened colours, organic forms and relaxed textures. This was an interior styling project inspired by the textures, tones and relaxed character of the coast. This space started as a completely blank canvas, and it was thoroughly enjoyable to see it gradually come to life. We began with some electrical rewiring to make sure the layout worked beautifully for the vision we had in mind before moving on to selecting and custom designing some of the furniture and lighting to create a relaxed, comfortable and welcoming feel. We then moved on to my favourite part, layering in the finishing touches & bringing together natural textures, soft tones and the little details that give a home its personality. The result is a calm, timeless space with a relaxed coastal character.
